The Helmut family history goes back over one hundred years starting in Northern Bavaria where Helmut’s grandfather, a master tradesman, started making and selling products produced on the family homestead. Helmut’s father, after learning the trade and gaining experience working as a sausage maker in Germany and Switzerland, chose to start a new life in Canada where he and his family continued the tradition of his father for the next 50 years.
