BUTTERFLY RELEASE SET FOR JULY 21

The Central Okanagan Hospice Association, a leader in unique and exciting events once again brings a family day that’s sure to be entertaining and meaningful for all.

On July 21 an artist marketplace kicks off the event at 10:00am at the Okanagan Lavender and Herb Farm, with a variety of artists and musicians in attendance, a kids zone, wishing tree, garden art, refreshments, and more. Admission for the marketplace for those who have not purchased butterflies is $5.00.

At 12: 45, the Butterfly Release Programme of songs and music will get underway, as purchased butterflies (monarchs and painted ladies) are released in memory of those we have lost. The names of those being honored will be read as the butterflies take flight.

Artists and musicians participating include Lynden Beesley, Alex Fong, Annabel Stanley, Julia Trops, Linda Lovista, Tina and Erica Schnellert, Marsha Farrow, with solos by Gorden James and Kimberley Kleineberg.

At 5:30pm, a ticketed Art in the Garden reception and art auction sponsored by Quails Gate, Valley First, Source Office Furnishings, and Grant Thornton which includes wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres dinner, desert, complimentary engraved wine glass and swag bags for all.
Tickets for the evening event are $75. Available at the Okanagan Lavender and Herb Farm and at the COHA office
