Building Condos to Build a Better Future for Children

Pastor Dave said that “while building these condominiums is the focus of the Eden, there’s an even bigger vision motivating this Project.” As Founding pastor of Kelowna Christian Center (KCC, 1982) and Heritage Christian School (HCS, 1986), the leadership’s priority has been to create a synergy between home, school and church. In 2004 Heritage Christian Online School was established serving the greater BC need for Homeschooler education and the growing demand for Distance Learning. For 37 years these three organizations have served the families of this community and educated 1,000’s of children.

Two years ago, the need to build a new school became apparent. In order to make this dream a reality, the Eden project was established on the Highway 33 frontage of the KCCS property. Finances gleaned from the project will enable the financing of a new school building. The school will have a focus on Christian discipleship, along with preparing students to be technology and entrepreneurial savvy. “The internet has changed and enhanced the entire learning process. We believe our schools are on the cutting edge with this new technology, and we want to have a building that reflects that and offers options to students in terms of their learning style.”

The Eden will feature 1 and 2 bedroom condos in Kelowna’s uptown neighbourhood with spacious layouts and modern interiors.
