Entrepreneurs’ Organization Launches Okanagan Chapter
Welcomes Entrepreneurs to the Global EO Family
Kelowna, BC, Canada (September, 4 2018) – Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the world’s leading peer-to-peer network of successful business owners has announced the launch of its newest chapter, EO Okanagan, welcoming local entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries. This is the latest in a string of chapters introduced in the region which is currently 16 members strong and growing.
EO started out in 1987 with a commitment to transform the lives of entrepreneurs who transform the world. Since then, it has grown to over 13,000 members across 57 countries. With a mission to engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow, it enriches members’ lives through dynamic peer-to-peer learning, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and connections to experts.
Entrepreneurs joining the chapter gain access to world-class learning events across the globe, executive education programs, mentorship and an opportunity to help other budding entrepreneurs through the EO Accelerator program and the EO Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
Speaking enthusiastically about the launch, Steve Harvey, President, EO Okanagan said, “It’s very exciting to be able to have this worldwide organization available to entrepreneurs in the Okanagan.â€
This year’s elected members on the new chapter’s Board are: Steve Harvey – President, Keenan Fisher - Membership Chair; Mike Morin - Membership Co-Chair; Alasdair Drinnan -Forum Chair; Michael Melwicks- Learning Chair; Scott Butler- Learning Co-Chair; Andrew Gaucher- Strategic Alliances Chair; Drew Shaw - Finance Chair; Justinus Adriaanse - Integration Chair and Kendell Johnson – Communication chair.
