Front Street Brasserie Back in Business after Fire
Press Release
Tuesday, June 6 2017
Penticton, BC

The owners of Front Street Brasserie, located at 66 Front Street are delighted to announce that they are back in business after the fire at their neighbors’ restaurant forced them to shut their doors on May 28. “We are saddened that our friends at Ginza will be closed for the time being, but we are very happy that Front Street Brasserie is once again open,” says chef-owner, John Burke. “The Penticton Fire Department did an amazing job extinguishing the flames, and the crew at ABK Restoration worked tirelessly to rid our restaurant of any smoke damage, and we are so grateful for their efforts.”
Although the restaurant did have to cancel many guests’ lunch and dinner plans last week, Manager Lisa Baxter-Burke states that “we are thankful for their understanding, and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Brasserie again very soon.”
Front Street Brasserie is Penticton’s only French-inspired restaurant serving fine food without the fussiness of fine dining. The Brasserie is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Friday, and for dinner only on Saturdays. Reservations can be made by calling 236-422-2008.
