Feb. 19, 2013: Kelowna's popular Hotel Eldorado just keeps getting better. The hotel recently completed bar renovations that have upped the classic cool factor on what was already a Kelowna fine dining landmark.

General Manager Brad Sieben says guests will notice several changes including new colours, tabletops, and the addition of booth seating. The 36-foot oak bar, which was custom made for the Hotel Eldorado in 1989, has been refinished and the wood theme has been continued along the back bar, where new custom oak woodwork has been built and installed by Costello Custom Woodwork.

"We didn't want to take away from anything people knew us for. We just wanted to accentuate the great feel that our bar has always had," Sieben said. "We still have a classic space with a big long wood bar that seems to pop more now with the changes we've made."

Sieben said a small room on the south side of the bar has been transformed into a cozy lounge with a 14-foot leather coach, wingback chairs, and 8 ft. floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake.

The Hotel Eldorado is a family owned business located on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The boutique hotel has an award-winning restaurant, bar, and 53 guestrooms including six elegant luxury suites with fireplaces, jetted body spray showers, and jetted tubs overlooking the lake.
