Match Eatery & Public House at the Lake City Casino in Vernon invites everyone to their Charity event. On Sunday, October 19 from 12pm - 3pm they are having a Charity BBQ for the Kindale Developmental Association. For a $10 donation you will receive a delicious BBQ burger lunch courtesy of the culinary team at Match, cake, $10 in free play (for adults only) and your chance to win a deluxe gift basket. Live Entertainment graciously provided again this year by the Shawn Lightfoot Band. “Vernon Lake City Casino is very proud to be able to help this organization in such a positive way. For more than 53 years, Kindale has been thriving and adapting to the changing needs and desires of individuals with developmental disabilities. This is the 2nd annual BBQ – last year funds raised reached $9,528.36. This year the Lake City Casino team will be presenting Kindale with a cheque for over $5200 plus all donations received at the event so let’s help them exceed last year’s total! “Through this fundraising event we can all help Kindale with housing, recreational opportunities, skills training, employment supports, & community integration for more than 300 adults with disabilities in the North Okanagan & Columbia Shuswap.” says Riley.
