Who-Ville Returns for 2023
Who-Ville is back and so incredibly excited to announce that we have the support of Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc to again welcome you to the Powwow Arbour in December. If you have not yet been to Who-Ville Kamloops, you need to know that it is not a destination, but an experience. It is families and friends enjoying some time together.

Come hang out with The Mayor of Whoville, his wife, the Grinch, Cindy-Lou, and Max the Dog. The entry fee to Whoville is simply a new or gently used Children’s book for Literacy in Kamloops. Cash donations for Literacy in Kamloops are also accepted. This is roughly a one half hour experience.

Make memories with us as the original cartoon version of the Grinch plays on a large screen. Keep a look out for the Grinch as he creates havoc around us.
Event Dates and times

December 2 6 pm until 9pm
December 3 4 pm until 8 pm

December 8 6 pm until 9pm
December 9 6 pm until 9pm
December 10 4 pm until 8 pm

December 15 6 pm until 9pm
December 16 6 pm until 9pm
December 17 4 pm until 8 pm

With the generous sharing of this location by Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc we are teamed with Daybreak Rotary, Literacy in Kamloops, Cooper Equipment and Interior Display to make this a December Family event unlike any other. For us, it began to make people smile, and to create a family memory at Christmas. It’s become a tradition.

The ability to put this in a controlled safe space at the Powwow Arbour was such a positive move for us last year. The opportunity for us all to be together, to enjoy our families, to support literacy, and to be able to grow this Christmas tradition is so empowering to us all. What an opportunity to all be together, to make memories together, and to really enjoy the opportunities we are given!

Please note weather may play a factor in the event and if we are concerned about safety, we will cancel Who-ville on any nights of concern. This will be done out of respect for the use of the arbour and your personal well-being. Thank you for your patience in this decision.
We are very excited for Who-ville 2023. Please enjoy more pictures and video of our past experiences at https://www.facebook.com/WhovilleKamloops.

I am extremely honoured and humbled to live, work, play, and learn on the unceded traditional lands of the Secwépemc people.
