Nature’s Fare Markets Donates $60,000 to Local Community Food Banks
(Vernon BC, December 15, 2021) With so many families in Kamloops needing a bit of extra help this season, Nature’s Fare Markets provided a $10,000 donation to the Kamloops Food Bank. “Local food banks play a key role in keeping people in our communities healthy, and this year, those food banks are experiencing a surge in demand.” said Michael Sherwood, CEO of Nature’s Fare Markets.
This season, Nature’s Fare will donate a total of $60,000 to community-based food banks in BC. “Once again, it has been a very tough year for many families here in BC, and we believe that taking care of each other is the first step in building sustainable communities.” said Sherwood.

Nature’s Fare Markets is also giving customers an easy way to support their local community by discounting and bundling together some of the most requested items from food banks. Customers can just add them to their cart of groceries, drop in the donation bin after checking out, and each Nature’s Fare Markets location will deliver the donation to the local food bank
Donations to the local Food Bank will be accepted in all Nature’s Fare Markets, until the end of December.
