Obituaries

Kathleen went home to her personal Lord and Savior on July 28, 2017 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 95. Kathleen is lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara (Terry), son Tom, 6 grandchildren: Amanda, Matthew, Kimberly, Kristen, Lisa, Kenneth, numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Leonard Joseph in 1981.

Mom was an active member of the Kelowna Christian Centre and had a vibrant faith. She enjoyed her friends and family, and the many activities at the Dorchester.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Kelowna Christian Centre, 905 Badke Road with Rev. Dave Kalamen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #4

  Kay was my mother's neighbour on Brookside for many years. They looked out for each other. Kay was one of the kindest and most generous friends my mother had and supported her when she developed dementia and had to be moved to a home. You will be very missed, Kay. Heidi and Bob Garnett

  What a privilege to have known such a caring, gracious and truly awesome lady. She was a true prayer warrior always covering everyone with a blanket of prayer for any event in their lives. Every visit and every phone call always ended with Aunt Kay sending everyone her love. WE will miss her but know that we will be with her again. And now it is our turn to send some love to each other. Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Barb, Tom, and all the extended family.

  I want to thank everyone for your kind words. My mom lived a long and good life, and a big part of that good life was all her wonderful friendsand family. She is with God now and resting peacefully. Love you mom now and always.

  Kay was an awesome lady. She loved the Lord, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her church, her pastors and friends. We will miss her, but rejoice that we will see her again. May the Lord be your comfort and strength at this time.
