The family of Ronald Youngston deeply regrets to announce his passing on September 3, 2023. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his children Cathy (Mike), Alan (Julie), and Ken (Ying); grandchildren Michael (Lexie), Ashley (John), Alyson (Andrew), Megan (Michael), and Samantha; one great-grandson, Theo; as well as by his brother-in-law Ralph (Ang); sister-in-law Marlene; and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Ron was raised in Vancouver, BC, from the age of 6, and moved to Kelowna, BC in 1965. His career included time in the Royal Canadian Navy, Canada Post, and his own Gas Fitting business, culminating towards working for the City of Kelowna as a Gas Inspector.
The family extends a special thank-you to everyone at Lakeview Lodge who took care of him.

Margeret and family, sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I enjoyed the many years that we worked together at the City of Kelowna and occassional at retirement get togethers. I learned a lot from him and enjoyed his sense of humor. RIP Ron.
