WILLIAMS, Anthony Victor (Tony)

WILLIAMS, Anthony Victor (Tony)

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to a man that we were blessed to have known and loved.

Tony was born March 14, 1949 in Montreal and passed away on January 15, 2019 in Kelowna BC with his family at his side.

Tony is deeply missed by his wife of forty-six years, Judy, son Chris, daughter Trish (Andrew) Robinson, grandson Taylor Williams, and grand-daughters Olivia and Fiona Robinson.

He is survived by his brother Brett (Mary) Williams and sister Shelley Zimmaro, sister-in-law Ivy Stone, sister-in-law Mary Ann Pawlush, sister-in-law Leah (Rob) Wilson, and her mother Sheila MacDonald.

Uncle Tony's absence is deeply felt by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, as well as many friends across the country.

If only he had known in life how much of an impact he had made on the lives of so many he encountered on his life's journey of service.

We will be forever grateful to the staff at Costco, the BCEHS responders and the doctors, nurses and staff at Kelowna Hospital for the gift of time that they gave us.

He is at peace and in God's care now. May his memory be eternal.

A celebration of a life well lived will take place at a later date at which
time a more detailed obituary will be included.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Everden Rust Funeral Services.

Condolence messages may be offered at www.everdenrust.com

In Tony's memory please consider making donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 4 - 1551 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9.

Judy, Chris and Trish, we are so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. The years we shared in Saskatchewan bonded us in a very real and unique manner. We have special and fond memories of Tony and how privileged we were to be young married families at the same time. Tony was always very compassionate, caring and eager to please. As well as a very hard worker. We are so sorry we lost touch with your family in recent years. Our very deepest condolences to all of you and much love and many hugs. Judy, Chris and Trish, I send my sincere condolences. I am so very sorry to hear of Tony's sudden passing. I was very fortunate to have worked with Tony in Saskatchewan for many years. Tony was a very rare individual who had very high life standards and was admired and respected by all that knew him. He was the absolute best friend anyone could have. I will always cherish the memories I have of Tony. He was absolutely the best of the best.

So sorry to hear the passing of Tony! Tony and I were friends back in the late sixties/seventies in Mission, BC.

We had lost contact after both serving in the RCMP.

    May you RIP.
