    Audrey,

Very sorry to hear of Larry's death. I just read his obituary in the Kelowna newspaper. He certainly had a full and successful life from his start in Hedley. All the best to you and your family.

Larry was a great man and I just am so glad that I got to meet and spend time with him in Kona and Canada over the years. Our last adventure to Northern Vancouver Island and Kingcome was an awesome treat. I am just glad I got to spend that last bit of time with him. My heart goes out to everyone in the Walthers family all who I consider family myself. Here in Hawaii we have a term for family called Hanai family. Or put another way friends that are so close they are family. I feel as though I have lost a family member myself and I know the grief that the rest of the Walthers family is feeling. Larry had an amazing life, and he lived it to the fullest there is nothing more that any of us could ask for. He accomplished his goals traveled and pursued his Passions. How much Aloha to all the Walthers family. Kale

To the Walthers family, my thoughts are with you all in this sad time in life. I wouldn't be who I am if it weren't for the Walthers family. Larry is a big part of my success in life, giving me many opportunities along the way. Your great smile and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew you. I hope to see you all very soon.

Dear Audrey, David, Bonnie, Bruce, Gary,

I was so sorry to read this yesterday. I don't know where all the time goes, but want you to know of the fond memories with the Lions club and ski ventures to Sun Valley, Whistler, and Big White we had. Loved his sense of humor and his unending generosity. Love to all of you.

We are sorry to hear that Larry has passed away. He and his family are fondly remembered from our teaching days at Glenmore and in the purchase of a brand new family car many years ago.

Audrey and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bruce and Bonnie, you both remain in my heart.

Larry, Gary, Audrey and Bonnie have been such a big part of my family's life. The wonderful sense of humor and laugh that Larry brought to our lives will be sadly missed, as will his kindness, warmth and peaceful nature. I can't thank this family enough for all they have done for me, and for the love they bring to my life. Big hugs to all of you, I'm so sorry for your loss. May he visit often in your dreams, and live always in your hearts. xoxo

Dear Audrey, so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. Not many guys like him. Always had a smile on his face and such a great sense humor. He always had time to talk to you and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Most of all he was such a generous, warm person. He will be missed by all. Love Don and Nikki Carter
