Terry passed peacefully on July 18th at sunrise. His parents CR and Gertrude Tanner, sister Mary McCarthy and first wife Dixie, predeceased him. He is survived by his partner of 27 years Suzy Clark, his children Caroline (Michael), Patrick (Cicily) and Mary; Suzy's daughters Tory and Kate (Terry) and his six grandchildren, Katherine, Alexander, Autumn, Esme, Ryan and Piper, along with relatives and friends in B.C. and Calgary. Terry attended Strathcona School for Boys in Calgary, Trinity College School in Ontario and the UBC School of Architecture, from which he graduated in 1964 as an architect. Terry was a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, was involved in Habitat Forum '76 in Vancouver and was a member of planning commissions in Vancouver and Calgary.
