My husband Dave and I had many good laughs while doing Lions work with Doug at Camp Winfield. Between them they gave many hours to the Camp leadership and we continue to see the results. He always had a smile and comment and we will miss that. Enjoy your rest Doug.

    Lioness and friend Roberta Withers.

My condolences to the Sutherland family on the passing of Doug. I first met Doug when I joined the central Lions Club in 1989. I appreciated his good sense of humor and admired his volunteerism towards the Lions movement and the efforts he put into our Club. It was joked that Doug and I rotated the presidency on a regular basis. Thanks for making me a better person through your example of giving back to the community.

Bill Mah, former Central Lions member
