Obituaries

Weldon Charles Stringer, longtime West Kelowna resident, passed away suddenly at Kelowna General Hospital on March 26, 2019.

Weldon is survived by his loving family: wife of 37 years Marlinna Stringer; daughter Meredith and son Andrew; and his father Weldon. He was one of six siblings: Rod (Sheila) of Grand Forks, Diane of Cranbrook, Rosemary (Gary) of West Kelowna, Ralph (Janet) of North Vancouver, and twin brother Bill (Janelle) of West Kelowna. He is also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Weldon was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte in 2002.

  I was so sad to hear of Weldon's passing, my heart goes out to Marlinna and family! One of the best neighbours anyone could ask for, Weldon didn't mind helping me out when my skylight blew off in a sudden gust of wind, he climbed up on my roof to patch the gaping hole no questions asked!
