My condolences to the entire St. Jean family. Jennie was one of the best persons that I have ever met, and always put her children first in everything she did. She was an exceptionally hard worker, and seemed to thrive on helping others in any way she could--she put herself out for many more people than I can count in the years that I was lucky enough to know her. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in the peace she so richly deserves.

I met Jean through Yvonne and Gord. We got together many times to watch Gord play at different venues...I adored listening to her tell me stories about her life...she was funny, witty and wise...a beautiful, sweet woman. She will be truly missed. Condolences to all who were blessed to be a part of her life.

I have so many fun memories of your Mom; she was part of our (Safeway) Family. We were always going to write a book re our SW comedy years but never quite got to the publishing stage.

Jeannie & I both enjoyed our holistic courses & spiritual experiences.

I still chuckle thinking of the time we were deep in a meditation & the silence was broken by your mom's snoring, lol; then there was Jean discovering the meaning of 'the rings of fire', on a trip we made to Oaxaca.

The following day she was showing the bartender,( yup behind the bar,) how to make 'pina coladas.

Jean was a great friend, I remember her wheeling me around Stupid Store & running into an end display. We laughed all the way out of the store.

Your Mom will be with her angels now, where I'm sure her wicked sense of humor is being, , enjoyed by all.

I'll miss that smiling face, so blessed to have known your Mom.

    Hugs Marilyn Forsythe

We're very sad to hear of Jean's passing. We only met Jean twice, at Ritchie and Jen's rehearsal dinner and wedding, but we feel we know Jean because she is so much a part of her children. Ritchie is the salt of the earth, and we've had a great pleasure in getting to know Wayne and Yvonne. I'm sure Tracey must be the same. Jean was very special to pass along all her wonderful qualities to her children. From the stories we've heard over the years, we know she was very much loved.

    With much sympathy,

Jean will always be in my heart. What a fabulous neighbor, mother and friend. I'll always remember her giving us a warning about sliding down the hill behind the house on Dell.

"There was a kid that did that and got a stick right up his rectum"

Ritchie, Wayne and I rolled on the ground laughing so hard.

    Simpler times indeed.

My love to all the family

Deeply shocked and saddened to read of Jean's passing.

My Mum and I first met Jean in the mid 70's at a Flea Market as she was searching for Louis L'amour books for your Dad. She stopped by our home and of course left with, not a couple, but BOXES of books!

From then on a lifelong friendship developed.

She indeed was everything written about her........and sooo much more! What a character.

There wasn't a bad bone in your body Jean. Oh how I will miss you my second "Mama".

Our sincerest, heartfelt condolences to all of Jean's family.

Based upon my educational experiences with all the St. Jean Family students, Tracey, Wayne, Ritchie & Yvonne, your Mom did an awesome job of parenting. Her children were obviously brought up to be Respectful, Reliable & Responsible which still goes on today with the St. Jean siblings from my encounters!

My condolences to the St. Jean Family as she will certainly be missed!

    Respectfully,

    Dave C.
