Solanik, Nastasia (Nettie)
April 20, 1918 - July 16, 2018
We announce with sadness that mom passed away on July 16, 2018 at
Kelowna Hospice. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, George,
her infant daughter Eileen, son George, daughter Sylvia, son in law Jerome
Gillen, her parents, five brothers and a sister. She is survived by her sister, Lil Walker of Medstead, SK, sisters-in-law Vera Oranga, of Whiterock, BC and Joyce Oranga, of Maidstone, SK, son Wilf (Pearl) of Kelowna, BC and daughter Nancy (Doug) of Lantzville, BC, 6 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Our sincere condolences to Nettie's family. She was a wonderful woman, always with a smile on her face, ready to enjoy each coming day. We were one of those family members you mentioned that enjoyed the swimming pool, with Uncle George chasing us under the water. Many happy memories. Sorry to have missed Nettie's service but was remembering her wonderful 100th birthday party. That was a very special day which will be a forever memory for us.
