SIMPSON: Merlyn (Merle) Bruce of Kelowna, passed away following a long illness on April 20th, 2017. He leaves his wife Margaret Carter-Simpson, children Catherine Simpson, Beverly Gagne and Bruce Simpson, his granddaughters Kyla, Aliesha and Jolee Simpson, great-grandson Avlin, brother Robert(Irene) Simpson , three step children Joan Oliver, Bruce Carter, Bonnie Bordas and their families. Predeceased by his first wife Betty. Merle was an employee with the Bank of Montreal for 40 years, following his retirement he enjoyed travel, golfing and the sunny Okanagan. As per his wishes, there will be no service, he will be laid to rest at Alto Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Red Deer, AB.   Mr Simpson, I cared for you for many days and many nights during your stay at KGH... you were always so kind and patient even though you were going through so much, you never once were rude or demanding to the nurses.... I enjoyed our talks and jokes .... you are a patient I will never forget.
