SIEWERT, Ron (Rogan, Rogie)

Ron passed away on April 25th 2018 at the age of 82.
Survived by his loving wife Anita Siewert; two sisters Darlene Hall (Joe Hall) and Diane Pearson (Cliff Pearson); nieces Barb Pearson, Ashley Haner and family, Amber Siewert and family; and nephews. Predeceased by Rick Pearson, Cliff Jr. Pearson and family, Russel Pearson and family, cousins and an aunt. Ron was a hard worker, having spent 43 years at the plywood plant in Kelowna. He had the gift of the gab and was a people person. Ron loved animals, fishing, antique cars and talking on the CB radio. Once you met him you never forgot him. He will be greatly missed by all.

I was saddened to hear of Rogan's passing.

It has been a pleasure for me to have known him for over 55 years. I have many good memories of him at fishing derbies, working with him on the job and after he retired.

Rogie was a great guy, a unique "one of a kind". He will be missed, but not forgotten.

George and I will always remember Rogan/Ron with his antique car and the A&W tray propped on the driver side window. His fun collection of A&W memorabilia displayed in the open truck triggered so many great memories....especially the car-hops filling orders for ice cold root beer, burgers and fries. Thanks, Ron for the great memories! Di and I had many wonderful times dancing to his records when he was at work....he claims that he knew we were doing it all along!!

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. My sons and I will always remember the Christmas display Ron put together each year. Years ago there were even lights way up on the CB antenna. Our neighbourhood just won't be the same!

To all Rogan's family and to the love of his life, Anita. We are so sad to hear of Rogan's passing. John will miss him greatly as they were co-workers and friends for 40 years and shared their love of old cars. Rogan was always a happy, caring and kind man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
