SEWARD, Jaime

SEWARD, Jaime

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jaime Seward after a lifelong battle against Polycystic Kidney and Liver disease.

Jaime was a highly respected artist who was talented in many mediums. She stood in her truth and was loved by many.

She is survived by her two children Jarvis Manuel and Austin Manuel, as well as her three beautiful grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

A wake will be held to celebrate her life on Sunday the 16th of September at 4:00 at her home at 110 McNabb, Enderby B.C. All those who loved her are welcome to attend. Please bring a natural gift (stones, crystals, wood) to leave at her favourite tree.

In lieu of sympathy cards or flowers please make a donation to The PKD Foundation of Canada.

Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca.

I have the incredible pleasure to meet Jaime when I was an Okanagan mountain woman. She became a mentor and friend and in 2006 painted me in the musician series.. she also used my vision and photo to paint a being called The Sorceress a full nude in 2007. Jaime was my honored guest at the wake of my son Robin John Nash at my mountain home the sacred meeting place of the ancestors beside the Okanagan Indian reservation. I know Jaime is still with us. It is her spirit that led me to this site. Keesahghean dear sister.. will see you soon. Sazacha Red Sky

It is with deep sadness that I write this. Condolences to the family and friends. Many years ago, I met this lovely lady. She did a sketch of my daughter. Something I have always treasured. May she be at Peace.
