SELCHO, Martha

Martha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 with family by her side. Survived by her loving husband Walter; daughters: Evelyn (Grant) Bridgeman of Winnipeg, Erica Neumann of Calgary; grandchildren: Laurissa and Garrett Bridgeman, Emily and Milla Rivera Neumann and (their father Martin Rivera); sister Edith Bischoff of Germany; nieces: Brigitte and Monika and nephew Helmut. Predeceased by her husband Theodor Neumann. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 18th at 10:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 1162 Hudson Road, West Kelowna, BC, with interment to follow in the Westbank Cemetery. Floral tributes accepted or consider making a donation in Martha

I'm so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My thoughts have been with you and I send prayers your way for peace and strength during this difficult time. I feel so fortunate to have met her. Her smile was infectious and I will never forget how welcoming she was upon first meeting us.

Walter, Erica, Evelyn and Grant, we are blessed to have known Martha. She was a wonderful and gentle soul and we will always cherish our many memories of her. She attended many of Emily's school events, piano and singing recitals which meant a great deal to us. Martha was a good friend to my mom, Juliana, and to our family. We could not have asked for a nicer neighbor than we had in Martha. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and may Martha's soul be at peace with our Heavenly Father.

Like all others who were fortunate enough to have met Martha, I too was deeply saddened to hear of Martha's sudden passing. I will always remember her light hearted spirit, eagerness to laugh and ready willingness to share a hug. I truly adored Martha and will greatly miss her.
