This message may be a few months late but since hearing of his passing, I have thought many times about "Scutt" as we called him back in high schooldays. Reading these condolences I can see he lead a good life and did good work and was loved by many people. That is a wonderful claim for a truly lovely man. I hope your memories are giving you some comfort. - Chris Leischner (nee Beattie) - Jun 09, 2024
Dear Pam, Glen and I are so sad and sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. We remember many happy and fun nights of dinner and wine with you both. Lots of fun days on the boat, camping and waterskiing at Chief Joseph, windsurfing trips with “the boys” to the Gorge, Big White ski trips. He left our world far too early. May these memories give you some joy. All our love Diane and Glen Milner - Diane Milner - Jun 01, 2024
Just the other day as I was driving through Kelowna I wondered where Billy was. At that time was investing in the downtown Kelowna area.
I worked with him up at Big White in the 70's, the good old days.
We had a lot of fun. So sorry to hear of his passing. Billy will always be remembered with fondness. Carol - Carol Roberts - May 27, 2024

We want to send our deepest condolences to Pam and all of Bill's loved ones. It's hard to believe that someone so fun loving, full of life, who loved to live life to the fullest as Bill could be gone so soon. He was a great guy. We enjoyed skiing and partying with him at Big White, especially participating in the Team Supreme races. May your happy memories of good times with Bill be held in your hearts forever.

My deepest and sincere condolences Pam and Ursula. Our world has lost a genuine generous lovable guy always sporting a huge contagious smile. I had the pleasure to share a house with Billy during his few years living in Vancouver, his humor and mischievousness often told by his infectious giggle laugh made it a wonderful place to live. Many laughs were had reminiscing with Billy on random occasions during the last few years; it was always a highlight to see him when in Kelowna. RIP my friend you will always be in our memories. I was so shocked to hear of Bill's passing -far too young. I feel so privileged to have had those on snow years working with Billy. His warm personality and his beautiful smile
combined with his hard work developing his own skiing made him a gifted ski teacher. He was the perfect model of a ski pro's contribution to developing new skiers helping to build the successful reputation of our own ski school in the wonderful Big White years of the 70's. My deepest sympathies to Pam and his extended family and friends - he will be missed. Sue & Brian James

Pam,
Bill was truly an amazing man. I've often spoken frequently about our time together, drinking wine, talking business and life. He carried a charisma so unique that it could really only be understood by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was consistent, engaging, wise, and as likeable of a person as I've ever met. He always spoke so fondly of yourself, and in the time we had together, I obviously understood why. Condolences & Blessings from myself and Carmen.
So much love for your family. - Dallas & Carmen Chelick - May 06, 2024

It was with shock when I heard of Bill's passing last Saturday. He was one who lived each day to it's fullest, and gave back much to his community. I have known Bill since the early 80's and have seen quite a few variations of that smile over those years. From the docks at KYC to sipping a red wine or a dram the enjoyment of life he shared will never be forgotten. We will as a group of his "fans" share a special night in his honor at our Scotch group later this month. I will be in attendance on Jun 02. Stay strong! - David Langton - May 04, 2024
