David Schellenberg, born July 26, 1918, has taken his last walk. Unlike his father before him, David didn’t quite make it to his 100th birthday. He died peacefully on February 14, 2018.

Predeceased by his brothers, Don and Erwin (Gladys) and his sisters, Elsie (Russ) and Wanda (Gordon), David is survived by his daughters Marnie, Jody and Tami (Kevin) and his two very special grandchildren, Connor (Melissa) and Tegan.

David always lived his life his way and was a character to the end. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren. He leaves us with memorable stories, thoughts of his quirky eccentricities and fond recollections.

To the Schellenberg family, Dave had a good sense of humour. Our friendship developed over our many years in business together. We'll remember him with fondness and are thinking of your family at this time. With sincere condolences. Dick and Rosemary Stewart and family

I always looked forward to my talks with Mr. Schellenberg. He was sharp witted and enjoyed his walks to his property. Lot's of fond memories on my part. Will miss him. RIP my friend. To the family, peace and serenity, knowing he lived his life to the fullest.

    Marnie, Jody, Tami and family,
I will always fondly remember the fun times at the cottage in Green Bay. And the nonsense and silliness Dave and Dad would get into.
    Our thoughts are with you.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of David. What a wonderful life he experienced over the years. My husband Russ and I were friends with David and the family in the early years. Unfortunately over the last number of years I have lost touch with David and the family. We had some wonderful times over the years with you all and I shall remember David.
    Sincerely, Dee Richardson and Family
