    Dear Justin, Brydon and Taylor

Your Mom was my dear cousin. Often we connected with each other via phone as our paths did not often meet. I remember she travelled to Japan while we were serving there as missionaries, and we had a wonderful time getting to know each other at that time. Then my wife and I happened to be at the same Camp, called West Bank Camp one summer and we got to know her more during that time. Then of course all three of you traveled to Lethbridge with your Mom and your grandparents Olga and Oscar. What a blessing that was to see you three with your dear Mom. I know you all will miss her so because of your love for her. And as already been expressed, she now is in a "better place" without pain, without cancer. Yet be assured my prayers are with you as you three journey now with just the dear memories and the time you had with her. Keep looking forward and fulfill the dreams she had for you and know for a certainty that you will meet her again someday. God Bless you all.

    Your Mom's Cousin, Wilfred Weick

To the wonderful sons of Marlene - I have known your mom our whole lives being born only 5 hours apart at KGH. Your mom was a trooper and one of the most wonderful human beings I have had the pleasure to know. She is in no more pain and heaven just gained another angel. RIP my friend. Julie

My deepest sympathy to Justin, Taylor and Brydon. Your Mom was the nicest person. A group of us new moms met back in 1989, Patti, Debbie, myself and your mom. We remained friends all these years later. Her home was always open. We had some great parties and craft sessions back then. Love you so much Marlene and will miss you!

May you have peace now Marlene. Condolences to her beloved sons. First met Marlene when we were having babies and mom's nights out. She put out fabulous food for some of our get-togethers. Always a smile.

    Dear Justin, Taylor & Brydon,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Mom. Not only was she a wonderful Mom but a true friend. We had some incredible (& long) talks through the years, something I will always treasure. You boys were her life, she was so incredibly proud of you. Her attitude towards her cancer was none like I have ever seen, no pity, just determination to beat it ! She is at peace, free from pain! Honor her life by living yours to the fullest as that is what she would want. God Bless!

With love & compassion, Patti & Sam DiMaria & family
