RENNIE, Iain

Iain Rennie
April 07, 1970 - August 14, 2017

Iain is lovingly remembered and will be greatly missed by his children, Christopher and Brianne, his parents Alex and Jeanette, his brother Alex (Lisa), and nieces Amanda and Claire. Iain and family emigrated from Scotland when he was 2, and he grew up in Parksville.

Cooking was his passion in life. He was a red seal chef who held the position of Executive Chef at top hotels in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, including most recently, the Delta Grand Okanagan. He also competed domestically and internationally and recently won two gold medals with Team Canada in the Culinary Olympics in Germany. Iain had a twinkle in his eye and a heart of gold.

Celebration of Life to be held August 27th at 2 p.m. at the Quality Resort Bayside, Parksville.
