PODMOROFF (NEE MARKIN), Nellie

Nellie Podmoroff, nee Markin, passed away peacefully in the Chemainas Care facility November 23, 2018 at the age of 93.

Born January 1st 1925 to Mike and Hana Markin in The Crescent Valley she grew up in Salmo B.C. then married Sam and lived in Nelson and Proctor then to Kelowna in 1956.

Survived by her son Gary and wife Barbara and two grand children, Dave and Darren but predeceased by her daughter Lorraine in 2005 and husband Sam in 1997.

Mom was a quirky, wonderful, sometimes, most times unpredictable being but always nurturing and loving and will be in our hearts for ever. She danced to the very end and held the rest of us with her captivating smile Rest in Peace.
