Edeltraut Petzel was born October 21, 1924, in Siedlerfelde, Ostpreussen (Germany). She went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2022, in Kelowna, BC. Edeltraut was predeceased by her parents, Edward & Lydia Petzel and her sister, Hildegard Meger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice to honour Edeltraut.

A Funeral Service will be held on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM (PDT), at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.

She was a lovely no nonsense lady who worked as a nurse in Germany and Canada. She looked after her Mother for many years after her Mom had a stroke and was totally disabled.As her family doctor for over thirty years I quite enjoyed knowing her and we had many lovely chats.
