  We remember Kay for her lovely smile and willingness to help and remain active. She was a volunteer with the Cathedral Food Cupboard and an active member of Saint Michael's and All Angels Cathedral Church.

  My family and yours had a long and wonderful history. I went to school with the kids, played music with Chas and was always welcomed by Kay. I am amazed at the life she has shared with us all. Monty Hughes (Bringing back wonderful memories with my Mom and Dad, Una and Red, and your Mom and Dad.)

  We would like to join the others to extend our deepest condolences to your family on the passing of a precious soul. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Kay a few years ago and share some photos of the early days in Kelowna with her friend, Jennie Andison McLellan (my aunt). Jennie often spoke very fondly of Kay and Bar (Miekle). They had a close friendship that began in elementary school and lasted throughout their lifetimes. During the few times I met with Kay (usually with Auntie Jennie), I thought she was a lovely person. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. We send our prayers to all of you at this most difficult time.
