PATTERSON, Margarieta

June 8, 1955 - Dec 19, 2021

We regret to announce the passing of Margarieta Patterson on Dec 19, 2021 at Kelowna General Hospital.
She was born in Oude Pekela Groningen, Netherlands to Egbert & Greitje Grave, moving to the lower mainland in BC in the Vancouver area in 1957, with her parents. Later moving to Armstrong BC, in 1969 with her parents and 2 sisters that were born in Canada.
A few short years later she met the love of her life, marrying Larry in 1974.
She is survived by her husband Larry of 47 years, Daughters Cori (Dave) and Krista, her Grandchildren Tyler, Olivia, Landon and Evan, her sisters Romi & Sonja and their families and many many nieces and nephews, and relatives in the Netherlands.
She is predeceased by her grandson Nicholas Drier (2017), her Father Egbert Grave (2013), and Mother Greitje (2017).

After having her children she later purchased her Fathers old hardware store back and opened a restaurant that soon became a staple in the community, where she enjoyed her staff and guests that all turned into her friends for many years to come.
She will be fondly remembered for her love for her family & friends, her love of camping and nature and her great love of her fur babies, her puppies.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
