    Dear Kids,

I open with "Dear Kids" because when I knew your mom and dad you were all very young. Robert and I worked together at Big Brothers and Sisters and I had visited your home and had dinner a few times and remember the good energy of you all. I had lost touch with most people in Kelowna and now live 1/2 time in China, so I had not heard about your dad's passing until recently. Now when I reach out to share my very belated condolences to your mom, I find another tragic passing for the family everyone who knew her. I want you to know that your parents were the most welcoming people I met when I moved back to Kelowna to work with your dad. I visited a few years ago when they owned the coffee bistro and again their warm caring was offered. Let me say how sorry I am for not sending my condolences sooner but be assured they are very heart felt. Your dad and mom were very good caring, hard working leaders in the community.

Adam, Chelsea and Aimee: It is with great sadness that I read of your mom's passing. She was a gentle soul and a person who reflected kindness and concern for others. Her smile was infectious. Her love for her family evident. May God grant you peace in the days ahead. Her legacy of love lives on in and through you. Heartfelt sympathy, Mary Ratzlaff

There will never be enough words to define how huge of a loss Gale's absence will be in ALL our lives. If you ever met her or knew her then you will never be able to forget her.

Gale's over abundance of love, natural beauty and true compassion are just a few qualities that will always be a part of us all to remember and share.

We considered Gale a member of our family and always will. We feel the emptiness greatly!

To all of her children, family and friends we hope love and memories of Gale will help in your healing.

We all love you Gale and always will!

Were certain Susi & Gale have teamed up again helping of course others more than themselves ;)

I knew your mom Gale many years ago while in school in Greenwood and then Midway. Although it was roughly 40 years ago, to this day, Gale is one of the most upbeat, happy and kind people I have ever known. You must all have so many memories of you mom. Keep them with you always and when you miss you mom, play those memories back like a wonderful, favorite show. I am sure you mom is making people smile right now.

I hope your hurt and pain is soon replaced by smiles and the knowledge you had the best mom! Peter Hadikin

Adam, Chelsea and Aimee, your Mom had such a beautiful spirit, smile and was a very special lady indeed. Gail and I go way back to the 80's when we both worked in the hairdressing business for a Japanese lady named Kimiko in Vernon BC. We instantly became friends. Years later I moved to Kelowna and worked for a bank in town when in came Gail with that same stunningly bright smile, we instantly hugged and reconnected and from that day on we always kept in touch. I was extremely saddened to hear of Gail's passing, she sure was a ray of sunshine to everyone around her.

I will miss you my friend, sending you big hugs, you will always stay in my thoughts.

Condolences to the family, just know how special your mom was to many people.

Adam, Chelsea and Aimee your Mom was one of the most caring, loving, gentle, generous people I have known. I remember her teaching preschool at the PRC and all the play dates Aimee and Brittany had. I still have a Japanese umbrella she made me and have always treasured it. Last time I saw her she was talking about the 3 of you and was so very proud of you. We are so sorry for your loss and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Adam, Chelsea, and Aimee, my heart couldn't ache more for you at the loss of your Mom. I am so, so sorry, and if ever there was something I could do to offer you extra comfort I would.

Our daughter Kira worked at Staccatos, and your Mom made her feel as special as anyone can imagine. Gosh, your Mom, and you even held a graduation party for Kira. I cry just thinking about how incredibly loving and kind your whole family truly are.

Your Mom had the sweetest, purest soul we've ever known. She would sit and have a chat with us no matter how busy she was, and she left us feeling like we were visited by an Angel. She is now an Angel among us all. When she smiled at us at Natures Fare, and gave us a hug, her sweetness made my eyes fill with tears. There aren't words enough to express what she meant to us, and we feel a sadness deeper than anything.

Please know we would love to attend her celebration of life to honour your Mom.

RIP Gayle, our tears will flow a long time, and our hearts and souls will forever be lifted from your kindness.

Randy & I are so sorry to hear of Gale's passing. She was such a beautiful person & always had such a wonderful smile. We got to know her when our daughter Stephanie was tiny, as Gale was her preschool teacher at the Parkinson Rec Centre. She was so wonderful with the children. Such a shining light! Later, Randy enjoyed going for coffee at their cafe at the Rotary Center. I always loved to see her when I popped into Nature's Fare. She always left you feeling great. She had that affect about her. We are going to miss you Gale. Sending our love to her family. May your memories carry you through the tough times. You are all in our thoughts.

I was so sad to hear of Gale's passing. My daughter and I met her many years ago as customers of Nature's Fare. She always had a smile and a few minutes to chat.

Sarah collected many stickers in her younger years from Gale. We are grateful for all the visits we had with her over the years and most recently listening to music with her this past summer and sharing a yoga session in the fall. Strength and peace to her children, sister and mom.

Adam, Chelsea and Aimee, your mom has been on my heart the past few days and I was wondering how she was doing. We recently returned home after being away for a few months but I saw her just before we left in October. I am heartbroken to hear that she is no longer here but find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord! Please please let me know when her celebration of life will be, and how I may be of help to you now. I loved your Mom, she was such a beautiful friend, full of life and love and compassion. She will most assuredly be greatly missed. Your Mom was a survivor is so many ways and she has left you a beautiful legacy by how she lived her life.
