PALMER, Kenneth

PALMER, Kenneth

Our cherished Kenneth Palmer, born on September 28, 1930 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, passed away on October 9, 2018.

Left to honour his memory are: daughter Deborah Everitt (Steven); grandchildren Lindsay Fisher (Ryan) and Jeff Everitt (Genevieve); great grandchildren Ella, Aria, Zachary and Dean; nephew Kenneth Quinn (Marcia) and family; many cousins including Lynne (Claude), Lorraine (Jacques), Randall, Wendy and Albert (Ann).

Ken was a natural performer and an amazing story teller. In his younger years he spent time tap dancing professionally, teaching dance, modelling, playing football and hockey and swimming competitively. He had many fond memories of his working days, in which he excelled in sales and even trained to be a brewmaster. He had a love for people and conversation and could converse about anything from sports to pop culture. He is now reunited with the love of his life, June, to whom he was married for 63 years. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Ken

Ken(Poppa) was a wonderful, loving, caring man. He always had a smile on his face along with a sparkle in his eyes, he had you smile along with him. He was an amazing man he loved everyone around him. He cared and loved for all his loving family and friends, would have done anything for all of them. I am so happy to have known him, he will be sadly missed forever in everyone's hearts. I can see June and Ken dancing to his favorite song "What A Wonderful World", both having a wonderful time. Loved you both so much, RIP sweet man. Love Janis Fisher
