I grew up in Rutland, became great friends with the entire Pierron family, they all made me feel welcome any time I went over to their place. Dawn and I instantly clicked like brother and sister, she was always, always such a positive person, she could make sunshine on a rainy day, I loved her spirit and friendship, I just discovered her passing today. I am so sad and sorry to hear that Dawn has passed, love and condolences to all the family and friends of Dawn, the world needs more people like her.

Dave, our deepest sympathies. Dawn was such a bright light. We shared many laughs and long discussions as she tended to her horse, Lucy. She loved riding her horse, being with her dogs, and having you by her side. We miss her laughter and big heart but know she is now in a better place free of her pain. Take comfort knowing she touched a lot of people in such a positive way.

Dawn was a vibrant and compassionate soul whose presence filled the room. I am saddened by this news and send my heartfelt condolences to her family. Dawn was part of our dental hygiene class of 1998 at CNC. She was a mentor to many and made us laugh out loud during many lectures.

It is with a heavy heart that I send sincere condolences and regrets to the Pierron family and to Dawns' family. She was a force of nature when I first met her back in the early 80's at the Okanagan college. She and I made fast friends when I found out that she was sister to two of my elementary school mates and her mom was one of my teachers. Her wonderful presence will be missed. She was truly a beautiful person. My thoughts and prayers are with the survivors.

Paul and Sylvia, and all the Family!

So saddened to hear this news of Dawn’s passing. We were great friends when we were younger and I regret we fell out of touch in the Mid 80’s.

We spent many hours riding horses at a stable near the family home!

Not surprising to read that she pursued this happiness later in life. She was a beautiful sole back then and I can only imagine the mature Woman she became!
