happy smile on his face. Always kind words for all and if you were buying the beer he was even happier! May you rest in peace Joe, as you join your beloved Emma.

Our deepest condolences to the Numada family. It is four generations that our families have been friends. It was your grandmother Dale that became my grandmother's 1st friend in Canada and best lifelong friend. They couldn't wait to see each other at church every Sunday. We are grateful for the lessons of friendship passed down. May your father rest in peace.

The Curling Club will be a quieter place this season without Joe's positive attitude and happy nature. Joe was always the guy who took in new members and made them feel welcome and appreciated. We loved playing with Joe or against him....didn't make a difference as he was a true friend to all.

What a shock it was to find we'd lost another truly good person. I have so many good memories with Joe at the curling rink and will sure miss him when the new season begins. I will have a 'shot' of his favorite medicine before I throw my fist rock. Such a happy, friendly person who will be missed by all.

Very surprised to see that Joe had passed away as I didnt know that he was ill. Rutland and Kelowna have lost a true angel as Joe was the kindest man with the biggest smile around the town. Had many a game of golf with Joe with the match ultimately coming down to the last putt which he always sunk! Many wonderful memories of Joe and Emma.
