  Rita and family, firstly we want to say how sorry we are to hear of Bill's passing. My heart is broken at the loss Bill. More than 1/2 my life was spent with Bill, my Dad and their other best friend Alfie. I have so many memories camping, Lions Functions, working on projects, laughing together. So many great memories that I can carry with me. I not only had fun with Bill I learned from him, just like I learned from my Dad... to serve my community. He was a wonderful example to me. It was an honour to both Celena & I know him. The world is sadder place with Bill gone. We are sending you our love and condolences.

  Mrs. Newman, Lynda and family, I echo the words of other Lions club families and friends. My family was also fortunate to have been a part of the many Lions club activities and most importantly, friendships. I remember Mr. Newman's warm smile, big heart and gentle nature. I bet that Lion's Bill, George, Terry, Gary and Earl and the many others have already scheduled the next meeting in the Dillman room.

  I am saddened and shocked to hear of Lion Bill's passing. He was such a devoted family man, dedicated Lion and a very dear friend. He leaves behind all kinds of memories from the good times we had attending Lions function, work parties, fishing derbies camp outs etc. This I will cherish for the rest of my life.

  Dear Aunty Rita and family. We are so sad at the loss of Uncle Bill. We have so many wonderful memories that we will cherish. He was and will always be our favourite Uncle as he always treated us so special. It was so good to have him in our lives growing up as kids and then through our adult lives. He had a great sense of humour and a zest for a life filled with family and food. We will miss him and he won’t be forgotten. With love and sadness in our hearts we say goodbye.
