Bruno was born in Valmozzola, Parma, Italy and as a young man immigrated to England and then to Canada in 1957. He and his family lived in Winnipeg and he worked as a chef in various places the last being at the Viscount Gort Hotel before relocating to Kelowna BC in 1977. There he worked as a chef at the Royal Anne Hotel and later opened up his own very successful restaurant, The Carvery. Bruno worked hard all his life so that he could enjoy his retirement at age 60. He was fortunate to have a long retirement where he was able to travel and enjoy time with his family. Iride and the Molinari family....We were so saddened to hear of Bruno's passing. Although it has been only 12 years that we have known him, it has left a void in our hearts. He was such a loveable person and always made us feel welcome when we visited. We truly feel honoured to have met him and to have shared some precious time with him. May all the wonderful memories of Bruno give all of you the strength to go on. I'm sure he will be watching over all of his family. I worked at the Royal Anne as a waiter under Chef Bruno from 77-79. He was always a humorously bombastic presence with that signature smile; an amazing man...

My sincere condolences to the Molinari family, Bruno was a wonderful man always smiling, chatting making everyone feel welcome a very kind man. I first met Mario and Linda worked with Linda at Rods burger and sundae..... then met Mario then Bruno at the Carvery one of the best restaurants in Kelowna ever always delicious. I was honored to have shared the joy of Mario and Linda*s wedding and to be a guest in such a wonderful Molinari family wedding it was wonderful, so much love. I then met Linda when she started to date Kevin a friend of mine way back then..... and once again I was included in a Molinari family wedding so much love once again from the Molinari family.... I am sending you all love and light as you go through this difficult time..... Bruno was one of Kelowna's true gentleman, an ambassador from a kinder more gentler time, he will be truly missed but never forgotten. Love to all of the Molinari family, with respect, Jackie Higgs Salmon Arm.
