MILLER, Jack

In loving memory of Jack Miller who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and close friends on Sept 2nd after a long battle with amyloidosis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley (McRory), daughter Debbie (David), son Mike (Lisa) and four granddaughters Christine, Samantha, Emily and Taryn. He leaves behind his sister Doreen (Jim) and was pre-deceased by his brother Brian.
Jack retired from a 33 year hospital administration career in 1996 managing in Trail, Richmond, Prince Rupert, Delta and Nelson hospitals. He loved his work and worked for the people and communities he represented during those years. He was an active Rotary club member throughout his career.
Jack and his high school sweet heart, Shirley, enjoyed their life together RVing, curling, boating, fishing and golfing.
His friends will miss him as a man of strong character, a leader, a mentor and a friend who had a wonderful sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
