MEERES , Elizabeth Diane

March 5, 1946 - June 24, 2019

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Lisa) on June 24, 2019 in the Kelowna General Hospital with her devoted family at her side.

Elizabeth made her living in shoe retail at the Kelowna Downtown Shoe Store. She held a special place in her heart for four legged critters. Elizabeth was known for offering all dogs a treat and fresh water. Most of the regulars would not pass by without insisting to stop. In lieu flowers , donations to the SPCA, 1245 E. 7th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 1R1

Cremation. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

Dear Terry and family. Our thoughts are with you as you and your beloved dogs grieve.

We met Lisa in the shoe store and it was a joy for our dog Juanita to go bounding into the store for a special Lisa snuggle and treat.

Lisa was a kind and loving woman. She made the store the special place it was. She and Debbie made a great team.

Her spirit will always be there when we go in. No matter how busy she was, she always found a moment for a hug and a Juanita visit.

There are no words to say that will make your loss any easier. Lisa was a wonderful lady who even when she was in pain, had a smile on her face and something nice to say. When I lost my mom and Arthur both of you were there for me and I don't know what I would have done without you. If there is anything I can do for any of your family, don't hesitate to ask. We are here for you. At least Lisa isn't suffering anymore and she is in the arms of Jesus.
