    Kathy, Loreen and Wendy,

Unlike Wayne said above, I do check the obits on Castanet all the time.

Once again, I find that someone very special has passed on and unaware of it. So sorry, my own fault, been far too long since seeing Mary. The last time I visited at Hawthorne I don't think she remembered me. The best neighbor I could have ever had while in Sunrise. With a Wonderful, Caring, Loving family looking in on her often and giving her all she ever needed.

Mary was a sweet , sweet woman. You were so lucky to have her as long as you did, Many memories -

I have moved again a year ago, still in West Kelowna. I now look out at the 7&8th hole of the Two Eagles golf course.

Would love to be included if or when you may hold a celebration of Mary.

    Sincerely, Shelley Lyon

I'm very sorry that your Mom has also passed away only a few weeks after my Mom at Glenmore Lodge. They were neighbours and friends there, sharing a dining table, visiting in the lounge and now in Heaven. We all shared this special time in their lives together. We'll miss our Moms forever but have the comfort of many wonderful memories.

Your Mom was a lovely lady.

Steve and I send loving thoughts to all of the family. We have very fond memories of both your mom and dad! When we were first married back in 1973-74 we lived in Prince George and they were our rocks! Aunt Mary was a great lady who will be missed!

    Hi Kathy,

First time I have EVER looked at the obits on Castanet or anywhere else. Obviously a sad loss but to make it to 99 was a bonus for her and all the big family. Best wishes as you heal and move forward.
