Betty McIntosh
1925 - 2019
It is with heavy hearts and much sorrow that we announce the passing of the Wonderful Betty McIntosh. Betty had plans of heading out for breakfast with a dear friend a few Sundays ago when she suffered a stroke. Anyone knowing Betty would think, Betty, that tough old bird, will conquer this too but she passed away April 9th with family by her side. She was 93 years old.
Betty has lived a long and adventurous life. Born in England, grew up in Saskatchewan, moved to Victoria where she met her husband, Ken McIntosh and the rest is history. They had 3 children, Hether McIntosh, Mairon McIntosh and Meghan (Donald) Fletcher, all living in BC. Now there are 5 grandchildren too, Callie (Craig), Garett, Rhianen (Mike), Sarah (Sunny) and Ashley. Ken passed away in 2010.
Betty has graced us all with many fond memories over the years. Too many to go into now. The family would treasure any fond memories and even copies of pictures of Betty and her escapades if anyone might feel like sharing. Please share them through Hansons Arbor Funeral Chapels www.hansonsfuneral.ca/notices/Betty-McIntosh.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Westwood Retirement Resort in Westbank Saturday April 20th at 2 PM.
