MCCARTHY, John Brian. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian on Thursday October 12, 2017 at the age of 73 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years Julie in 1997. He is survived by his children: Tim (Trudi) McCarthy, David (Lisa) McCarthy, Stephanie (Marco) Sender, and Dustin McCarthy, as well as 6 grandchildren (Brittney, Jonathan, Emily, Delaney, Garrett and Luca).   I spent many hours singing with Brian as he tried to improve our sound in the folk choir at St. Michael's. I hold him in my heart. We all loved him.
