It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Matieshen (née Kwiatkowski), who peacefully passed away on March 11, 2023, at Brookhaven Care Centre Hospice at the age of 86. Kay was born in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Joseph and Anastasia Kwiatkowski. She attended Business College in Vancouver, BC, returning to Saskatoon working as a legal secretary. Upon retirement, Kay and Harold moved to West Kelowna, BC, where she enjoyed golfing, skiing, gardening, entertaining, and a good game of cards. Brenda and Ken and family,

Our deepest sympathies. Kay was one of the most loveliest person we have ever known. A true friend, great sense of humor, kind, amazing cook, and always ready to lend a hand. It was always so nice to spend time with Kay and since we moved, many hours on the phone catching up. We will miss her but will cherish all the memories.
