MARUSZCZAK, Christopher Wolodimer (Criggy)

Criggy left us too soon on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 43. He leaves behind his parents Cathy and Joe, brother Mike (Dawna), sister Donna (John), daughters Jessica (Alex), Courtney, Kelsey, grandson Jackson and his partner Valerie. Sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris grew up in Kelowna but settled down in Likely, BC where he really enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, spending time with horses and everything and anything that had to do with the outdoors. Anyone that crossed paths with him became a friend and there were many over the years. He would drop everything to help anybody and didn’t expect anything in return.

He had a few jobs over the years including Riverside Forest Products, Plywood Division in Kelowna and a few stints up North. He finally found his calling at Interior Roads in Likely, BC. He was so proud to work there and loved them all like family.

There was an Open House in Likely for family and friends and his ashes will be spread on Quesnel Lake where he spent every minute he could fishing.

My deepest sympathies for all of Chris's family and friends. He was a great guy, had a great smile, great laugh and a great sense of humor. I loved the way he made people and me laugh. It was always a guarantee that you would have fun hanging out with him. 30 years of friendship and he will always be remembered as one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I will never forget him.

This was very sad for me and my family to hear this news. We loved Chris from a child all the way up to manhood. He was so kind and very soft - he tried to be a hard ass but you could see right through him. He was always there for anyone whom was in need you were truly a good human and even a better friend. We miss you and will always treasure the time we had with you aka Gear Box. My heart goes out to Joe Cathy and Mike and Donna, you truly were blessed.
