My deepest sympathies and condolences to Yvonne's family and friends. I was a student of hers when she taught at Gibson Creek School, which was outside of Castlegar BC. It was a one room class from grades 1 to 6. She was one of the greatest teachers I have had. She had a passion for her students and has left wonderful memories of inspiration and influence that I have cherished over the years. Very proud to have remained friends with her for all these years, and she will have a very special place in my heart. Rest in peace my dear friend,

There are no words to express how important Mrs. Marr was to so very many of us at Pass Creek School. She taught many generations. What a wonderful lady! I know she loved us all. And even had photo albums filled with us. ( be wonderful to see them!) Rest in peace. With all our love.

Mrs. Marr was my first teacher - at Pass Creek School in Castlegar. She was a beautiful soul - sweet, kind and patient with all the children, providing them with a very positive school experience. Thank you and rest in peace.
