MARR: Diane (Dee): It is with great sadness, and heavy hearts , we announce the passing of Diane (Dee) Marr on January 6th, 2-018 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dee was born June 9th, 1947 in Kingston Nova Scotia. In 1983 she packed up her 1963 Chevy Nova, her beloved Doberman, Star and the light of her life Brian and traveled across Canada to BC and settled in Lake Country, where she was later blessed with another son Luke. In 1995 , while working at the Winfield Packing plant, she met the love of her life , George Brown. The two were inseparable. Many camping adventures, garage sales and flea market trips were had. Dee had a knack for seeing the beauty in everything. She was very artistic, and loved to work with her hands, whether it be in her beautiful gardens, or creating beautiful quilts and clothing.
