LEGER, Robert Joseph

In Loving Memory

On November 8, 2023, after a short stay at Moog & Friends Hospice House, Robert Joseph Leger of Penticton BC; Bob as he was also known, at the age of 73 peacefully moved on to a better place.

Robert is survived by the love of his life Elizabeth, his children and bonus children, Catriona Leger (Tim Mooney), Joe Leger, Kristopher Leger (Frances Apil), Trevor Nelson, Tasha Meuser (Ben), Justin Nelson (Adrienne), grandchildren Alina and Simone Nelson, sister Paulette Bearer (Bernard), niece Amanda Rodriguez (Daniel) and their children, Savannah, Ariana, David, Daniel, Michael, nephew Steven Bearer (Melissa Zeier). Robert leaves us with many extended family and close friends.

Robert, a beloved husband, father, bonus father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, mentor, golfer, sports enthusiast, and guitar player in the “Wrinkles Band” will have his memory carried in the hearts of all who knew him.

Our sense of loss is going to live on forever, but so will the many wonderful memories we hold so dear.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Begin, an incredible Doctor who provided care and support, as well as the fabulous volunteers and caring nurses of Moog & Friends Hospice for the compassionate care he received.

A Service will be held at St. John Vianney Parish December 9, at 12:30, followed by a reception also at the church Parish.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Penticton & District Hospice Society would be greatly appreciated.
