LANOUE, Jamieson Joseph Grant

November 4th 1989 - September 18th 2021.

Surrounded by his family Jamieson passed away after a short illness unrelated to the pandemic.

Jamieson was born and raised in Kelowna B.C. He attended high school at Rutland Secondary School and graduated in 2008. During this time Jamieson was very active in sports, playing football for the Rutland’s Voodoo's and on the Okanagan Jr Sun team’s. Jamieson also had a great passion for Olympic Wrestling. He competed for the RSS wrestling team as well as on the team representing British Columbia in the North American Indigenous Games, bringing home a silver medal.

Jamieson was an enthusiastic fan of fantasy and adventure games. He was a valued and active member of his D&D team, and avid participant and collector of tabletop games. Another treasured pastime was meeting up with friends to debate current affairs, politics and religion.

Jamieson was a kind and loving soul who wanted nothing more than to help people who couldn't help themselves.

Jamieson will be dearly missed by his Mother and Father, Jean and Bill Lanoue, Brother Cody Lanoue and his family, wife Julie, Jamieson's nephew's Carter and Ethan. Sister Jaclynn Wilkins and her family, husband Blake, Nephew Stephen and nice Aurora. His best buddy Marlo the cat.

He will always be missed, but his laugh, and loving spirit will be felt by his family forever.
