LAFLAMME, Daniel

It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Laflamme announce his passing on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the age of 78. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Kelowna, BC.

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Anne, and his three sons, Kevin (Beverley), Adrien (Nicky), and Nolan (Leanne). Dan also leaves behind his younger sister, Sylvia, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Dan was born in Montreal in 1941 and raised in Chesterville, Ontario. He met Anne in Nanaimo while he was serving in the Canadian Armed Forces and they were married there in 1961. Dan started his career with Overwaitea Foods and spent the next 38 years working throughout BC. In 2012, Dan and Anne relocated to Kelowna to be closer to their family.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to KGH for all the special care given to Dan during his stay there.

Dan’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 29 at 1:00pm at Sunrise Village Activity Center, 1260 Raymer Road.

Sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences are extended to Kevin and Beverly and your family, may you cherish and find strength and love in all the beautiful memories, Daniel has left, and as his journey to the other side, may he be your brightest star, shining down on you.
