Obituaries

LABELLE, Myrtle (Wally), nee Wolhaupter, passed away on July 4, 2018 at the age of 100. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Virginia, husband Tom Booth, and grandchildren Helen, Colin and their families.
After a successful and satisfying 12-year teaching career in New Brunswick, Wally moved to Montreal and married Jim. Subsequently she resumed teaching until she and Jim moved to various locations where she worked in senior clerical positions. After retirement, she and Jim settled happily in Kelowna until his passing in 2012. She spent her last years in her new home at Three Links Manor. Many thanks to the wonderful staff there who were her second family, along with caregiver Christine Fisher.
