KOSKI, John Albert

KOSKI, John Albert

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Albert Koski of Enderby BC at the age of 90 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Martha, his daughters Pat Sefton (Jim), Anita Warren, and son Albert Koski (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

John was born and raised in Sunshine, Ontario. He worked in lumber camps, in one of which he fell for the camp cook Martha, following her back to Wardner, B.C. in 1948. John was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, hunting, and especially fishing. We still don

    Koski Family:

Please accept my deepest sympathies over the loss of John Koski (husband, father and grandfather). I still have fond memories of spending time in the back yard of your house in Port Coquitlam attempting to mend John's fishing nets with Albert. Please note that the key word in the foregoing sentence is "attempting". It's still a mystery to me how John managed to catch any fish in those gill nets after Albert and I worked our mending creativeness. The Koski house was always filled with love of family and the constant chatter around the kitchen table. Canasta was the usual blue plate special of the day. To Martha, Pat, Albert and Anita, our hearts and thoughts go out to you.
